Frequently Asked Questions...
How to put on a filter?
Okay, I just got the 60D canon and the 18-135mm lens ---> first D-SLR. It says 67mm on the lens, so I got the rocketfish filter 67mm/62mm and neither side is working. The 62 is too small and the 67 side is the same size as the filter, not smaller or bigger so it won't connect at all. Did I get the wrong size, or am I doing something wrong?! Am I suppose to take anything off of the lens I have? I can't see anything I would take off. Any help would be lovely. Thank you!! ![]()
To be more specific, it's a polarizing filter.
Answer:
I understand that the Rocketfish filter 67mm/62mm is really a two-piece product. You have a 67mm filter and a 62mm-67-mm step up ring. In order to mount the polarizer in your lens, you have to remove the step-up ring.
