A multi-function printer or MFP provides a cost-effective and space-saving solution to various office requirements using Canon ImageClass MF8050CN compatible toner. One such piece of equipment is the Canon MF8050Cn printer. Other than printing, it's also capable of making copies, scans and sending and receiving fax. This machine is from the line of imageClass products from the manufacturer in its aim to help save the environment.
When printing and copying, it's quick enough to dish out as much as 12 monochrome pages or 8 color pages a minute using Canon ink and toner. Because it employs laser technology, printouts end up having professional quality to them. Thanks to the Quick First Print engine, deadlines can be easily met. This allows the first monochrome page to be out in 23 seconds or 29 seconds for a color print. Resolution used is 600 x 600 dots per inch.
Cyan, magenta and yellow toner cartridges used can yield as many as 1500 pages, while the black one can produce up to 2300 pages. Thanks to the front-loading design of the machine, replacing the toner cartridges shouldn't give you a hard time. To enjoy as much as 20 percent reduced toner consumption, simply switch on the toner saving mode.
Together, the automatic document feeder or ADF (50-sheet), cassette tray (150-sheet) and multipurpose tray (1-sheet) help you meet your output requirements. The Canon UFR II LT is the language emulation included. In order to maintain professional-looking documents, there are some technologies around - dual direct mapping, auto gradation adjustment and pure black technology. Hardwearing, the monthly duty cycle is at 30000 pages.
When being used as a copier, there's the platen, which may be utilized for documents with measurements of up to 8.5 x 11.0 inches. For multiple copies, the ADF may be used. You can plug a USB flash drive into it so you can scan directly to the device. The platen and the ADF may also be used.
Installed within it is a Super G3 fax modem, allowing for 33.6 Kbps data transmission speed. It uses a fax resolution of up to 406 x 391 dpi and it has a memory capacity that can store as many as 512 pages. Other useful fax features include dual access, error correction mode, auto redial, fax forwarding, distinctive ring pattern detection and 19 one-touch speed dials.
Belonging to the imageClass line, there are innovations found in this multi-function product that make it environmentally friendly. For instance, the energy saving mode reduces its energy use to 3 watts only. The 2-on-1 and 4-on-1 printing capabilities help save paper supply by allowing multiple pages to appear on a single sheet. Also, there's the toner cartridge and hardware recycling programs to minimize production of waste.
Having a dimension of 17.0" (width) x 19.1" (depth) x 16.9" (height), the Canon MF8050Cn printer with Canon MF8050CN printer toner cartridges, sports a compact form factor. It has a 52 lb. weight without the Canon ImageClass printer toner installed. USB 2.0 and Ethernet 10/100 Base T are connectivity interfaces around. On a budget of $50-60, what's a decent light meter?
I recently spent a good chunk in strobes, light stands, and flash triggers. Of course, I didn't even think to consider a light meter (which is rather crucial considering manual mode is required for even the newest strobes). I have a couple Vivitar 3700 strobes and a Canon 430EX II. I'm on a limited budget...
Answer:
You don't need a light meter to shoot off camera flash - you can set some 'ball park' exposures then chimp the image.
I do this most of the time & I use off camera speedlights, triggers, modifiers, etc for both studio & location photography.
If I want to kill the ambient, I use max sync speed & start with an aperture of around f5.6 or f8 & 1/4 or 1/8 power on the flash (ISO 200). Then adjust as necessary from there.
Outdoors I'll meter the sky (using the camera meter) & underexpose by a stop or two, then adjust flash power to give me the foreground result I want.
I do have a Gossen DigiPro F but rarely use it. If you want a good meter, Gossen LumoPro analogue meters are reasonable prices on eBay. A new meter though (in your price range) will be basic & may not meter flash exposure.
Hope you didn't spend too much on strobes/triggers... a YN460-manual strobe is only around £40 and a set of RF-602 triggers are around £27 and these are incredibly reliable & fully manually adjustable.
