Help on (vintage?) Nikon 50mm?
Hi,
I know nothing about this camera besides the fact that it looks professional though it is old. I would like to try and figure it out. It is a Nikon, Lens Series E, 50mm, 1:18 (just reading off of the lens).
If anybody could give me some input as to what it's like, or how to use it, that would be great

Thwe lens is baidcally an AI Lens so it will work with modern DSLR but will not give you all functions. The series E were good lenses, In fact many say this it is as sharp as any Nikon ever made, As to the camera it was on it could be several can you give us a little more It may well though have been a nikon EM or FG
Added:AI lenses will work with DSLR. You can mount them and they will take photos with all of them in manual. They do not meter with any but the D100 and above. And they do not autofocus with any of them. But that does not mean you cannot take photos. I have one and I can put it on the D40 and use the sunny 16 rule to set things manually and get good photos manually focusing.
