The Nikon Coyote Special Scope - Specialized Optics for Coyote Hunting
The Coyote hunting has become increasing popular in the US because of the enlargement in their numbers and the difficulty in hunting these predators. Predation of farm animals as well as wild game like deer and turkey by coyotes is a major issue now. Most states have very liberal hunting seasons for coyote with generous bag limits to try to check this varmints population increase.
Coyotes are very proficient predators and provide the hunter a new and exciting hunting experience. They have keen vision, excellent hearing and scent detection. Hunters try to fool coyotes to come to him as they are too wary to stalk. Hunters get this done usually by using audible calls that imitate a dying rabbit or another coyote. When moved by the hunters signals, coyotes will often circle downwind to check the wind prior to moving in close. If the hunter is a caller and luck is on his side, he may get a chance. Getting off a clean shot at a coyote is one of the greatest challenges a hunter can encounter.
Recognizing the difficulties of coyote hunting, Nikon created the Nikon Coyote scope. It is a Nikon Buckmaster with a special Bullet Drop Compensating (BDC) reticle, available camo finishes, and an anti-reflective device (ARD).
The Bullet Drop Compensating reticle is calibrated {to|for} the .223, 55 grain round zeroed at 100 yards or the 22-250, 55 grain round zeroed at 200 yards. The purpose of the BDC reticle is to accurately place shots beyond the distance that you sighted your rifle in at. The BDC holdover reference circles are large, allowing you to follow the coyote accurately even as it continues to walk.
The Nikon Coyote scopes come in matte black or 2 camo finishes. The camo will match some of the new camo varmint rifles for sale in stores, and when coupled with full body camo it will foil the ability of a coyote to see the hunter. Matching camo rings are also for sale.
The ARD installs directly onto the objective bell of the scope. It features a honey-comb pattern that prevents glare off the objective lens that could startle a coyote. The neat part of it is the shooter cannot see the ARD when looking through the scope. The shooter always has a clear field of view.
The Nikon Coyote Special scopes come in 3-9x40mm and 4.5-14x40mm. For shots under 200 yards the 3-9x40mm will be sufficient. For shots at 200 yards or further the 4.5-14x40mm will be the better choice.

yes and no... you could get good shots but I don't know if you personally could do it.
Those pictures were taken on a Canon 20D at ISO 3200 at 135mm 2.0
the lens you asking about is already half a stop under
So from here it's how good your skills are
