Tamron 28-300 Super Zoom Lens Review for Full Frame DSLR
Have you already tried the Tamron 28-300 lens? It is an Aspherical (IF) Macro Ultra Zoom Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras. For those of you who love photography, you know how expensive professional accessories can be. Sometimes, after spending a fortune in a complex lens, you end up missing a great photo only because you didn't want to carry a heavy piece of equipment around with you. And the worst part is, they don't always warrantee the best results. I love Tamron 28-300 because it gives you the best value for money. While I have owned many lenses the past, I think none of them have been able to compare with this one, for how much it costs and the many features it offers.
Forget about those heavy, uncomfortable pieces of equipment you used to carry around with much effort every time you wanted great shots. With a lens long 3.3", an amazing weigh of just 13.5 oz, and a filter diameter of 62mm, this Tamron 28-300 is light and compact. According to its manufacturers, it is the smallest and lightest available worldwide. And still, by far, it is the sharpest and cheapest wide angle lens for cropped sensor D you will find on the market for such an affordable price.
While keeping the performance that the previous 28-200 model offered, the Tamron 28-300 features a new Di design, which makes the lens appropriate for both digital and film cameras. No matter which platform you choose, this lens will provide great image quality. The "Di" design was achieved with the implement of a new optical design to coated surfaces, as well as by improving the already selective system for quality control.
LD (Low dispersion) and AD (Anomalous dispersion) glass elements will help you drastically reduce chromatic aberrations, thereby providing enhanced image quality. Other elements of the lens are the Extra Refractive Index (XR) glass, which can bend light rays at steeper angles, and Aspherical Elements (ASL), which provide the decisive image compactness. These are just a few of the product specs, since it has 15/19 elements. And yet, as we mentioned before, it is a small, convenient piece of equipment you will not hesitate to carry around with you. With the 28-300 lens, Tamron has proved once and for all that quality can come in a small package.
